Mr. Hussain Al Thawadi boasts an impressive 23 years career holding senior legal and management positions with leading organizations in Qatar. He has track record with expertise in corporate and commercial law, public-private partnerships, arbitration, investment advisory, due diligence, and project finance along with handling complicated cases of construction, oil & gas etc. He holds double LLMs comprising of LLM in International and European Business Law from APU Cambridge and a second LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from King’s College London. Before founding HAT Law Firm, he served as Deputy CEO of Qatar Solar Technologies, where he helped establish critical legal and contracting functions. His notable leadership and work experience also led to him being seconded as Chief Operating Officer to the Qatar Museum Authority from 2014-2016. Mr. Al Thawadi has also held pivotal roles with Qatalum (one of Qatar Petroleum), the Qatar Museums Authority, and Qatar Steel earlier in his career, accumulating valuable expertise across the energy, museum, and renewable energy sectors. He is a Qatari Cassation Level Lawyer with affiliations including the Qatar International Conciliation & Arbitration Center, London Court of International Arbitration, Swiss Arbitration Association, International Bar Association, Arab Bar Association, and Egyptian Society of International Law.
